Long Time No Post

Hey everyone!

You probably think that we have totally given up on our blog. Nope! The past four or five weeks have been a little hectic, but great. Marc changed from the midnight shift (11p - 7a) to the evening shift (2:30p - 10:30p.) At first we were nervous about the new shift; schedule changes always shake up your life a bit. However, once we adjusted we realized that we LOVE it! Marc is able to keep Aiden in the mornings so he doesn't have to go to daycare until 1:00, and I am able to spend my lunch hour with them both! I pick Aiden up from daycare around 5:30 and we hurry home and make supper for Marc; he is able to come home at 7:30 for about 45 minutes. The best part about the whole thing is we get to spend the weekends together! Marc is off on Saturday and Sunday. We have not been able to experience this joy for 3 years or so. We are having a blast!

Amongst the schedule change we have all been fighting illnesses, Marc has been planting new grass in the back yard and Aiden and I took a trip to Beaumont (Lily is beautiful!) Now, we seem to be well adjusted to the new schedule, we are all healthy and the back yard is finished...let the blogging begin!

Watch the blog over the next few days. We have several new posts to share. After Aiden turned 6 months old he became quite the comedian. Marc and I laugh constantly. We can't wait to share the laughs!
