Happy 2nd Birthday Aiden!

Aiden is 2! We had a small, family 'Two-Two Train' party for him. Unfortunately......or maybe fortunately ;).....Aiden was born smack in the middle of Texas Tech football season. So, we made it one big celebration! Aiden had a great time and REALLY enjoyed being the center of attention.

The party table.
I kept with my tradition and made Aiden's cake. I had a blast! The best part is when Aiden said, "Train, Mommy! Train!"Marc helped Aiden open all of his presents.
Great action shot of Aiden opening his train set from Mommy and Daddy!
He LOVES his Thomas Train set.
There goes Thomas!
His Cousins, Kembra and Kade, got him another really cool Thomas Train set.
Aunt Tamra and Uncle Brandon gave him a turtle that works as an easel and a desk. Aiden would rather use it as a seat! Aiden also received gift cards, clothes, books, movies and lots of other cool stuff from his MeMe and Grandpa, Nana and Papa, Uncle Karl and Aunt Missy, Uncle Michael and Aunt Meaghan, Cousins Jackson and Grayson, our neighbors Mark and Wendy and our friends Allison and Steve. He also received a sweet phone call from Uncle Chris, Aunt Melissa and Cousins Caleb and Madi. We will see them in early November to continue the celebration! Since his party he has also had special friends (Mason, Owen and Kamryn) drop off some really cool toys! Thank you so much!
Later that night after all of the sugar and celebration we could not get Aiden to go to bed (shocker!) So we laid him down with us, to get him settled down, and turned the lights out. After the lights were out for about 30 seconds Aiden shouted as loud as possible, "GO RAIDERS!" HAHAHAHAHA! That's my son!

Great job on the cake Kathy! It looks fabulous. So sorry we couldn't be there. Jackson kept asking when we were going to Aiden's party. We'll have to plan our annual football trip to Lubbock next year around his birthday.
