Houston Trip

Marc, Aiden and I traveled to Houston the week of Marc's birthday. We had such a great time! We arrived on Saturday and were able to spend several hours with some of our best friends from college (Alan, Jennifer, Maci, and Payton Meers; Matt, Tara, Cade and Reid Powell; Kris, Stacy and Lily Drake.) We gathered for supper at Fajita Jacks in Montgomery where someone let the cat out of the bag about Marc's birthday. After cleaning the whipped cream off of his face we all shared the HUGE dessert that they gifted him! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so I have no pictures. =(

On Sunday we planned a cookout to START the celebration of Marc and Michael's birthday. (I just realized that we celebrated their birthday for SEVERAL days.?? Who was in charge of that?) Below are pictures of the "Masters of the Grill" and of Aiden and Uncle Chris chillin'.

Then on Monday, Marc and Michael's actual birthday, the entire family met Grandmother and Grandaddy at Pappadeaux for supper.

The rest of the week was spent lounging, fishing, swimming and spending time with Grandmother and Grandaddy. There were also many Nintendo Wii Bowling Tournaments!!!! Aiden had a blast with his Nana, Papa, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. As you can see from the picture below, he and Jackson bonded that week! Also, Aunt Melissa taught him a few things out of the craft magazine.

As always the trip was too short but we look forward to our next visit!
