Where Did June Go?

Hello everyone!

Once again our blog has been neglected!

June was a difficult yet joyful month in the Wall household. At the end of May my sweet Aunt Laura, who had been battling liver cancer since Nov '06, fell in one of the local department stores and suffered a traumatic head injury. After two weeks of hoping and praying, she passed away on June 15th. This was an extremely difficult time for my family because even though she had been fighting cancer, the head injury seemed to take her life too soon. Also at the end of May / beginning of June we found out that Marc's Grandmother had been diagnosed with cancer. The cancer is pretty extensive but she has chosen to treat the cancer with a chemotherapy regimen.

Towards the end of June, Marc, Aiden and I were able to take a week long trip to Houston to visit friends and family. Grandmother started her chemotherapy treatments while we were there and seemed to handle them very well. Immediately after returning from Houston we traveled to Amarillo to attend my Mom's family reunion. Then, the following weekend my sister came for the 4th of July and we had a fabulous time!

June had it's sad moments and happy moments. I have taken tons of pictures during the happy moments and plan to share those with you over the next few days!
